About

Trustee Gregorio A. Montenegro, Filipino, 56 years old, was appointed as a Pag-IBIG Fund Trustee on 23 December 2022, and took oath as Private Employees Representative on 16 January 2023.

Trustee Montenegro is a top-level senior management officer with vast experience in international marketing and social impact investments. He began his career in 1991as head of international marketing for Pacific Activated Carbon, Inc, handling international sales for multinational companies in the North American export market.

In 2014, he shifted to real estate marketing for San Pyran Real Estate Development in Ozamis City, Ozamis Occidental, which focused on socialized housing for mid-to-low income families. In 2016, Trustee Montenegro founded RM Global Property Management with his wife and managed a portfolio of condominium and residential investment properties in Metro Manila.

In 2017, he saw the need and opportunity of providing quality healthcare in the US market and established the Cornerstone Homecare Services LLC in Newman California, where he personally trained the caregiving team while managing the rudiments of the company’s operations.

In 2021, he shared his knowledge on business and financial management by writing his first book, “Low-Risk Penny Stocks: Secrets for Beginners”, which is currently sold in Amazon.

A self-learner with a keen interest for business and investments geared towards providing social impact, Trustee Montenegro pursued his career in the delivery of social services such as housing, healthcare, and financial literacy.

Trustee Montenegro graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor in Arts degree in Business Administration, major in Finance. He is currently a candidate for the Master of Science in Marketing program from Johns Hopkins University.

Trustee Montenegro also holds the following roles: Founder and Owner of RM Global Property Management, Inc., Founder and Owner of Emerging Market Fund, and Senior Sales Manager of Austard Aluminum Windows, Inc. He currently does not hold any directorship role in any publicly-listed companies.
