The “Certificate of Net Pay” portion at the back of the application form must be accomplished by the employer or submit photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by the company’s authorized signatory

For Self-Employed Individuals

a. Income Tax Return (ITR), Audited Financial Statements and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registration and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit (1 Photocopy)

b. Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details (for the last 12 months) (1 Original)

c. Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months (in case income is sourced from foreign remittance, pension, etc.) (1 Original)

d. Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency (LGU for tricycles, LTRFB for other PUVs) (1 Certified True Copy)

e. Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business (1 Original)

f. Declaration of Income (HQP-SLF-136) (1 Original)

For Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)

a. Employment Contract Employment Contract between employee and employer (1 Photocopy); or POEA Standard Contract (1 Original)

b. Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC) CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead (1 Original); or CEC signed by the employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) (1 Original), supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport

Step 1:

Visit the nearest Pag-IBIG Branch to get your HELPs evaluation

Step 2:

Secure Billing Assessment from your preferred HELPs accredited partner school or hospital.

Step 3:

Accomplish the Pag-IBIG HELPs Application Form and submit, along with the other requirements, to the Pag-IBIG branch nearest you.

Step 4:

Get the Acknowledgment Receipt from the branch.

Step 5:

Allow 3 working days for your Pag-IBIG HELPs Application to be processed and validated.

Step 6:

Receive an SMS alert once your loan has been credited to your nominated institution.

1What is the Pag-IBIG Health and Education Loan Programs (HELPs)?

The Pag-IBIG HELPs is a loan available to Pag-IBIG members to help them cover educational and healthcare expenses for themselves and their families. The funds are directly credited to HELPs-accredited schools and hospitals to simplify the process for members.


Plus, members can benefit from exclusive discounts at HELPs partner institutions when they opt to pay using HELPs.

2How much can I borrow under the Pag-IBIG HELPs?

Qualified members can borrow up to 80% of their total Pag-IBIG Regular Savings. This includes monthly contributions, employer’s contributions, and accumulated dividends. This means that your available loan amount increases as you save more in your Pag-IBIG Regular Savings.


If you have an existing Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan or Calamity Loan, the amount you may borrow shall be the difference between 80% of your total Pag-IBIG Regular Savings and any outstanding loan balance.

4How do I qualify for Pag-IBIG HELPs?

To qualify for the loan, you must:

  • Use the loan at any HELPs partner schools or hospitals;
  • Have at least 24 monthly contributions in the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings;
  • Be an active member with at least one (1) monthly contribution within the last six (6) months;
  • Maintain all Pag-IBIG loans (Housing Loan, Multi-Purpose Loan, or Calamity Loan) in good standing
  • Provide proof of income.

6What is the interest rate under Pag-IBIG HELPs?

Pag-IBIG HELPs comes at an interest rate of 10.5% per year.


Aside from being an affordable loan, HELPs do not charge processing fees. This means that members receive the full loan amount without any deductions to fully address their financial needs as intended.


Further, interests earned from Pag-IBIG Fund’s cash loans and housing loans are returned to the members in the form of dividends and returns in their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings and MP2 Savings.

7How do I pay for my Pag-IBIG HELPs?

Loan payments can be made in easy installments of 6, 12, 24, or 36 months.


If you are an employed member, you may opt to pay your loan via salary deduction arrangement with your employer. Or, you may also pay any time at the nearest Pag-IBIG branch, or through any of our accredited collecting partners’ outlets or their online payment channels.

8When can I renew my Pag-IBIG HELPs?

You may renew your Pag-IBIG HELPs after paying an amount equal to at least four (4) monthly payments, if your chosen loan term is six (6) months. While for loan terms of 12 months or more, you may renew your loan after six (6) monthly payments.


The outstanding balance of your existing loan (HELPs, Multi-Purpose Loan or Calamity Loan) shall be deducted from the loan proceeds of your new loan.
