Thailand Deputy Premier in Manila for Cities Alliance Forum
Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer, Atty. Romero Federico S. Quimbo, welcomes Thailand Deputy Prime Minister and concurrent Minister for Social Development and Human Security Paiboon Wattanasiritham at the Dignitaries Lounge of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Wattanasiritham visited the country for the first time to deliver the Keynote Address during the Forum on Institutionalizing Collaboration and Leveraging Mechanisms on November 7, 2007 at Crowne Plaza Galleria, Quezon City.
The Philippine Government, through the Chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, Vice President Noli “Kabayan” De Castro, hosted the 8th Cities Alliance-Public Policy Forum in partnership with the League of Cities of the Philippines, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank and the UN-HABITAT. The Cities Alliance is a global coalition of cities and their development partners committed to scaling up successful approaches to poverty reduction.
