INSPECTION OF WATER SYSTEM AT SOUTHVILLE RESETTLEMENT IN CABUYAO

INSPECTION OF WATER SYSTEM AT SOUTHVILLE RESETTLEMENT IN CABUYAO . Vice President and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Noli “Kabayan” De Castro inspects the water in the shallow well at the Southville Resettlement Site in Cabuyao, Laguna, as Health Secretary Francisco Duque III looks on. The Vice President instructed that the shallow wells be immediately covered and ordered the construction of additional artesian wells which are safer sources of potable water. The NHA and the HUDCC recently distributed 700 pieces of mosquito nets and 362 mosquito coils as part of preventive measures against dengue. To date, more than 6,916 families have been relocated at the Southville Site. (photo by Patricio Roel Pira).
