Pag-IBIG House and Lot donation for Labor Day

Vice President Noli “Kabayan” De Castro, chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) and the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, is flanked by the three lucky winners of house and lot packages from the Pag-IBIG Fund drawn during the Labor Day Program. Joining the Vice President is Atty. Romero Quimbo (far left), Pag-IBIG Fund President and CEO and 2006 TOYM Awardee for Government Service. The winners, proudly showing their certificates are, (from left) Roland Ronio, 19 years old and sophomore student taking up computer technology at the De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, Cative (beside his mother), Elizabeth Fernandez, 33 years old and a sower from New Creation Manufacturing, San Dionisio, Parañaque, and Pablo Tobias, 47 years old, and president of the Employees’ Union of Indo-Phil Textile Mills in Marilao, Bulacan. The Vice President announced Tuesday that Pag-IBIG Fund members can now avail of a two percent discount when they pay their home loans before due date. “We’re calling this the ‘Good Payor Incentive Program’ which will especially benefit those home borrowers who were unable to avail of Pag-IBIG Fund’s reduced interest rates for housing,” De Castro said.(photo by Patricio Roel Pira).
