Members from Lebanon get claims proceeds from Pag-IBIG Fund
Pag-IBIG members Marciana Soriano and Josefina Lapeña who recently returned to the country because of the war in Lebanon proudly show off their checks representing their claims proceeds. Both members have been working in Lebanon for o ver 12 years when the war broke out. Vice President Noli “Kabayan” de Castro, concurrent Chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council and the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, earlier announced that affected members working in Lebanon who are registered under the Pag-IBIG O verseas Program (POP) will be allowed to withdraw their savings even prior to membership maturity because of work displacement.
