Atty. Ignacio Macrohon Jr., Chairman of HDMF YRT Insurance Pool hands over a facsimile check representing the proceeds of the mortgage redemption insurance (MRI) settlement to Atty. Romero Quimbo, President, Pag-IBIG Fund. The settlement consequently resulted in the release of the title to the heirs of Atty. Herminio Noriega and the release of the refund due to an excess on the MRI settlement by the insurance pool. The MRI is paid for by a member during amortization of his loan and is applied to a member's loan balance in the event of a member's death prior to the full payment of his loan.
