DepEd Regional Housing Fair
Pursuant to directive of the Vice President and HUDCC Chairman Noli ‘Kabayan” De Castro to hold a Housing Fair for the public school teachers and non-teaching personnel of the Department of Education (DepEd), a HUDCC led Housing Fair was held at the DepEd Central office in Pasig on Feb. 13-14, 2008. The Fair aims to provide a venue for the DepEd public school teachers and non-teaching personnel to acquire housing units at affordable cost and exclusive to DepEd in Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite and Rizal. It will also help the Key Shelter Agencies (KSAs) and the Government Financial Institutions (GFIs) to fast track the disposition of their acquired assets.
Considering the widespread population of DepEd public school teachers and non-teaching personnel, a similar Housing Fair will be conducted in six (6) key cities nationwide as follows:
Davao City –March 18-19, 2008
Bacolod City- March 25-26, 2008
Baguio City – April 8-9, 2009
Legazpi City- April11-12, 2008
Cebu City – April 14-15 , 2008
Cag. De Oro City- April 17-18, 2008 |
